The Kremlin has endorsed a book of Russian President
Vladimir Putin’s quotes, which was presented at a book festival on Red
Square on Friday, the Slon news website reported.
During the presentation of the book, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that he believes there will be more books published about the president, both in Russia and abroad, Interfax reported.
Peskov said that Putin's “record level of popularity and trust given to him in Russia and around the world means he will leave a mark in history and therefore all the interest in Putin is both understandable and natural.”
The book festival at Red Square will continue until June 6, celebrating both the birthday of Russian author Alexander Pushkin and Russian Language Day.
