IPOB - Indigenous People of Biafra has requested that Government should bring their leader to court on Tuesday. The decried Government illegal arrest of their leader, saying they would be left woth no option than to takr up arms if Government continues to ho;d their leader- Nnamdi Kanu.

The group in a press release signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful and made available in Awka, stated that it was gradually losing patience with Nigerian government for keeping its leader, who they alleged was abducted during the invasion of his home in Umuahia, last month.

IPOB also condemned the continued denial of the military that Kanu was not with it, citing a recent interview by the Nigerian Defence Minister, General Mansur Dan Ali on Channels Television in which he confirmed that Nigerian Army went in search of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his home.

You will recall that Nigerian Army allegedly invaded his country home after which Nnamdi and members of his immediate household were said to be missen.

Speculation has been rife on the whereabout of Kanu while some say he had run away others insisted that the army is got him.

However, the army has publicly declared not holding or know the whereabouts of Mr. Kanu. Kanu who carries dual passport - Nigerian and British got the interest of Britain in the matter as it has requested from Nigerian Authority to declare the whereabouts of their citizen.
