Las Vegas shooting near Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino leaves at least 50 dead

Reported Shooting At Mandalay Bay In Las Vegas
A shooting at a music festival on the Las Vegas Strip near Mandalay Casino last night killed at least 50 people and wounded more than 200 others late Sunday, authorities say.

He said the man authorities believe is the sole assailant was killed by police on the 32nd floor of the Hotel and Casino across Las Vegas Boulevard from the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country music festival.
"We believe it's a solo actor. A lone wolf," Sources say.
Authorities at this moment believe Mesquite man Stephen Paddock  a resident of the area acted alone. Paddock was short down by police on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Law enforcement sources told say a search warrant has been issued for the home of the shooter, identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada and they are upto further investigation into the incident. 
Authorities do not believe that at this point,  that the shooting was an act of terrorism. The suspect was known to police in Mesquite and had a criminal history, the sources say.
Authorities have found a traveling companion of the deceased gunman they were seeking, who is identified as Marilou Danley, 62. Law enforcement sources say that Danley was Paddock's wife. 
Two Vehicles associated with the crime has been found and it is believed that Paddock checked in as a guest in the hotel.
However a Bakerstfield policeman who was in no position to counter the shoot out sustained minor injury and is receiving treatment, authorities say
