BREAKING: Shots reported in Paris' northern Saint-Denis area

Police raid launched in the capital's north with residents reporting bursts of gunfire. 

Residents of Saint-Denis, a suburb of northern Paris, have reported gunfire in what French media said was a police raid.
French police were telling onlookers to clear the vicinity of the incident that started at 4:30am on Wednesday, residents said on social media. 

The shots ceased after 15 minutes and then resumed at 5am local time. 
It was not clear whether the incident was related to the investigation into Friday's deadly attacks in Paris.
