OKENE, Nigeria: Audu's Burial Postponed, Amid High Tension

The burial of the APC governorship candidate in Saturday's election in Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu has been shifted from between 9 and 10am to 2pm. amid very high tension among the Igala nation, one of whom he was, who are yet to come to terms with the manner of his death.
There are reports that they suspect foul play and have vowed to pursue the matter to its logical conclusion in a peaceful way.
It was learnt that the postponement of the entombment was as a result of a huge number of party members and other sympathisers from far-flung places who could not arrive early.

Reports said the venue of the interment was flooded with people as early as 8am with cars parking for as long as three kilometres.
