The burial of the APC governorship candidate in Saturday's election in
Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu has been shifted from between 9 and
10am to 2pm. amid very high tension among the Igala nation, one of whom
he was, who are yet to come to terms with the manner of his death.
There are reports that they suspect foul play and have vowed to pursue the matter to its logical conclusion in a peaceful way.
It was learnt that the postponement of the entombment was as a result
of a huge number of party members and other sympathisers from far-flung
places who could not arrive early.
Reports said the venue of the interment was flooded with people as
early as 8am with cars parking for as long as three kilometres.
